JUNKEE'S THE STORYTELLERS COMPETITION

 

I was the winner of The Storytellers competition In 2014, coordinated by the news and culture site Junkee. They sent me to Istanbul for five nights to report back with the most original story I could find, competing against three other finalists. Readers could then vote for their favourite story, for which mine was the favourite. Click here read the full story.

 

"In late October four talented young Australian content creators were chosen to be The Storytellers. Each was flown to an exotic city via Singapore Airlines' amazing hub of Singapore, to experience the comfort and ease of travelling through the world renowned Changi Airport. Once at their final destination, their job was simple: find the most interesting story they could, and then tell us about it.

 

The Storytellers could use words, video, photos or all of the above, and, once back in Australia, worked with Junkee’s editorial team to produce an amazing story."
