UOWTV MULTIMEDIA

I was the managing editor of the student news group UOWTV Multimedia for 2014. This role required managing the content that was uploaded to our site and on screens around campus, managing the student team contributing to the news group and the quality of their content, managing the site's social media presence and finally creating my own content.

I managed a team of student journalists in a weekly newsroom from pitching to final editing and publication. Our goal for the year was to increase social media engagement through new approaches to newsroom practice, placing social engagement first.

The gallery below is a collection of stories completed by me for UOWTV during the first half of 2013 and 2014. Each was completed to deadline, often a single day turnaround, though some were made over a few days. Each video was shot and edited by me.
